When I think of Child Development.....
When I think of Child Development I think of the child as a whole. I think of a child's brain development, attachments, experiences, social/emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. The following video addresses the affects of stress on young children, brain development, and the interplay of domains.

ReplyDeleteThank you for this video. Your quote about children being wet cement really hits home with me as a first grade teacher. This course has caused me to take a step back and remember that my students are only 6 and 7-years-old. When you've been teaching as long as I have, I think you forget that sometimes.
